As a customer of Velliv, you’re automatically a member of Velliv Foreningen (the Velliv Association), which owns Velliv. This democratically run association aims to distribute its surplus as cash bonuses to its members and to fund projects that enhance the mental health of Danes in the workplace.
Bonus distribution – see how much Velliv Foreningen has paid out
This year, Velliv Foreningen has decided to distribute DKK 412 million in bonuses to its members – that is, Velliv’s customers. This corresponds to approximately DKK 1,520 per saved million or about 0.15 per cent of the total savings as of 31 December 2024. Customers with small savings or pure insurance schemes will receive a base bonus of DKK 150.
At the beginning of May, you will receive a notification in your e-Boks about the excact bonus amount that you’ll receive during week 21.
Overall, customers have received approximately DKK 12,200 in bonuses per million saved since 2018 – or an average of about DKK 1,500 per year.
The table below shows the bonuses given by Velliv Foreningen since 2018, which was the first year the association distributed bonuses.

Your opportunity to influence
As a member, you can run and vote in the elections for the Board of Representatives. This means you have a direct say in how Velliv Foreningen and Velliv develop.
Elections for the Board of Representatives are held every two years, alternating between Eastern and Western Denmark. Representatives are generally elected for a 4-year term.
The next election will be held in 2026 in the Central Denmark Region, North Denmark Region and Region of Southern Region.
